*** ^ guys my tranny was running PERFECT then first day i wanna take it to track it started up wouldnt reverse so i pushed it back then it rode perfect power 1st and 2nd gear but 3 through 5th gear dont go in like at alllll the shifter literally stays in neutral position not even budging to try to go into position and i have nooooooo idea what this is clutch er ***?

first off, you need to tell us what car this is. from your mods, ive deduced that your talkin about your 240. go me.

my first thought would be to pull off the shifter from inside the car (six bolts, two of which are under the front of the shifter opening in the tunnel) and see if theres anything in that area just physically blocking the shifter from moving. since you cant get it into 3-R, which are all on the right side (bottom of the shifter to the left, check the left side of the shifter and internal linkages down there. it seems really wierd that internal problems in a tranny would cause failure of multiple gears at once.

yea i *** got done taking the whole motor out like 1 hr ago so now that u mention this **** go and check it out thanx bro HOPEFULLY I DONT NEED A NEW TRANNY :( AND YEA ITS A 92 240SX LOL

lol sounds like you are going to need a new tranny... this happened to my buddys ranger turbo. he has 1 & 2 no 3-R.

shift forks++ chances are, you need another transmission, give me your old busted one, i need to make some money.

hey guys I know this might sound weird but I had a sentra do the same thing and it turned out to be that the pressure plate was too weak,,, ,,, just throwing a bone out there,, it may not help... good luck
