Just called www.superhightechnology.com about their New Action rim by Tom's (Toyota Tuner?) and the sales guy had no idea about them. Said only rims available are 4 Spike and New SportsII.

Maybe thats why theres no link to those on the site, only a pic?

did you tell them that there is a pic on the website of the rims?

I hate to give you guys the bad news but tom's is the japanese racing division for toyota just like nismo is for nissan. It's like rolling on Mugens on a nissan. It's just not right. the ssr type x and type m comes in black with red anodized lip. Kind like this picture only with red instead of polished lip. These wheels are discontinued though so good luck trying to find a set. They do show up once in a while on ebay.

Ummm...TRD...Toyota Racing Development?

I believe, Tom's is not owned by Toyota like they do TRD, like Nissan owns Nismo, Honda owns Mugen, Subaru owns STi, DaimlerChrysler owns AMG and Mopar (somehow that doesn't seem right), etc. Tom's is an aftermarket tuner much like JUN, Top Secret, HKS, Spoon, Apex, Signal, etc. However, like Spoon and Prodrive, they are currently manufacturer specific.

I stand corrected. I wasn't positive if tom's is toyota's racing division or just manufacturer specific. Regardless they're made for toyota's. Does TRD even exist in japan?
