I tried searching, with no real luck...Even the famous suspension thread is missing this info:(
I need to put struts on the front of a B13 se-r.My nx2000 parts car has a set with nicer springs too.
I know I read that the NX rear springs have a stiffer rate(for the hatch) but are the front springs the same?I am only doing the front
I can keep the springs I got but it would be a quick swap without having to take the assemblies apart.
Anyone have info on this....ShawnB??
Thanks
Jay

I have heard the NXs springs are different. I don't know how. But I did put sentra springs in my old egg. It looked good to me. Handled like a b13

they rate is different by maybe like 8 lbs in the front iirc for the sentra E. There are no major differences.

thanks,everyone
I got them switched over today, and they look the same laying on the ground except for the paint marks are diff color(thats why I was wondering.
I am not gonna swap the rears, because I think they are different....

Anyone know if the rears are the same?/seems like the hatch and glass would alot heavier than the trunk.

like I said before, if there is a difference, it is miniscule. Go ahead and switch out the rears too you will be fine.

nx springs are slightly stiffer. will give you effectively a slight raise in the car. if you measure before and after, you will be higher.

According to the service manual spring rate is the same front and rear but the front springs are longer on the NX and the rear springs are shorter on the NX so if you swap them you will get a raised front end and lowered rear end on your SE-R.

well damn, the stock ser springs and are real rusty, and I just need them temporary until I install my hypercos(need struts for them). My parts NX had decent struts and springs.
For now I only did the fronts, but there is only a block in the car,no tranny,so it sits high in the front already.

nx+ answer would definately explain why NX' with Hypercos and Roadmagnets look raised in the air and lower in the front when paired next to an SE-R with the identical set up's.
