^Ok..........I see you are a newbie and you probably haven't searched much or you would have your questions answered........Second what car would you want to import from japan anyway? We have a "Mechanical / OEM / Part-outs" section on the board where you can find parts of your need or a "Wanted" section where you can start a thread to possible run into a part..........

Check those places and see what you come up with before you get

You can't import a Japanese SE-R into the US, because it's a US only car.

if you already have the car, maybe you should just get the engine and tranny that you say you need.

Google used japanese engines. More than enough links show up. where you can call companies that import low mileage used japanese engines. For now do your research as to what motor you may want. plenty to choose from. Pick a shop you may want the motor delivered to (or can have it delivered to your house, but does cost more). Good luck

Google used japanese engines.

Did they? What sort of 0-60 times did Google get with them?

Low mileage...hahaha...yeah...thats what they tell you, but unless you are actually in japan when they pluck that sweet little motor from the car, they can just make up any numbers they want. I would rather pay a little extra money and find one here with an exact(or closer to it) mileage.

I just can't stand using "Google" as a verb. I saw a perfect example of how it fails, so I pointed it out. =P
