If you could, could you post a link to a pic of your car with them painted, cause i remember seeing a picture and I want to see if I like it or not. THANKS ALOT

RUTH'LESS 200sx 07-14-2002, 01:57 PM I have my taillights painted candy apple red for the past three monthy or so. All it cost is $20 for the spray. I got the spray locally here in New York. When I develop my pictures I'll show all of you.
rEf1eX 22 05-05-2004, 01:48 PM whatup, i cant get any of the links to work. i have a white NX and want to do the red tail light thing too
cruceno21 05-06-2004, 10:34 PM There are other threads with more details. Just mask off the tails, get red candy apple testors translucent model paint and be careful. I clear coated mine as well. PM me if you want details, I did mine. you can see pics on my website in my signature.
Later.
The links don't work, because this thread is 2 years old, lol
SentraDragon 10-18-2004, 11:09 PM Is this the right spray? The 3 oz candy apple red?

So no light removal is necessary? Just super tape up the back end of the car? And clear coat, will a regular dupont automotive clear coat in spray can work? Or should it be testors? What type of prep? Just clean surface?
Johnny wangwang 10-19-2004, 02:28 AM The Spray cost about $3.00 with tax from Wal-Mart. It should take you about 20minutes max to do both lights. Then just let them Dry and your done. But make sure you have enough Goo on the inside of the Tail light still when you put them back in or they will leak.
If someone wants to host pics for me Ill post pics of them on the Car and a close up of them off the car. It looks way better then stock though

you can either e-mail them to me @ king_jayson@hotmail.com or just go to photobucket.com and you can upload them there.
