Ok - problem...

Car runs/idles GREAT. But when you hit the gas there is big time hesitation, and finally the car will boost and rev like a mo-fo...

I've got a pretty good fealing I've got a vacum line issue... It was kinda interesting figuring all that out... Anyone have detailed pics or any general help?

that sounds like the TPS needs adjustment. Get a multimeter and check and adjust it. instructions are on www.se-r.net somewhere.

HELL YEAH. sorry i ran off today, parents can be a pain when it comes time to family things. we spent $250 at the store on fireworks, then got $50 more free. so im pooped, but i will be calling you tomorrow to stop bye. Dad wants me to paint tomorrow morning, so it will be in the afternoon. cant wait to hear her run. did you take off the a/c line?

Yep - AC is gone, found out why it didn't work before, the big ass nut on the low side was so loose I took it off by hand, nothing leaked out at all. So I dropped the lines and the compressor and the bracket (big time weight reduction. We'll seal it up so that you can use it again....

Gotta go get a belt for a classic with no ac though....

Anyways I may/may not be around this afternoon - sorry I'm ***** tinker with it this morning, get the snap on thing on it and see what happens.

Car runs great, started it this morning with no issues, test drove it and OMG.... if your not turbo shame on you... hehe (oh wait I'm not)... DOH....

i drove it a few minutes ago, WOW, that things kicks ass. now i need to go get a fan, mine doesnt spin? i dont know, but i am off to get a boost gauge now as well.

You'll laugh sam, but it fixed itself... - odd I know... my only guess could be since the car sat jacked up for a few weeks maybe I had the same fuel issues you did ?????? I dunno - still have a MIL, a axle seal leak, coolant needs to be bled and thats about it - but man its awesome - I've got a ton of wedding related stuff to do today, so I don't think brian will make edgewater today - but hopefully tommorow...

got the boost gauge, about $61 from cincy speed. autometer, 30 psi. white face. i think we can use you ga16 fans for now chris, because i didnt make it to the junkyard in time.

Glad you all got it running. I say it was a fuel problem. You probably had air in the fuel lines.

On a different note, as of right now there's only a 10% chance of me making Car Wars :( :( . It might change, but I doubt it. My moving plans got pushed back 2 days:mad: :mad: :mad:
