Hi all,
I'm going to buy a '91 red SE-R in a few hours and I've been checking out the forum to see what to look out for and such. Many thanks for the great technical info, and I'm sure I'll be an active member of some discussions soon.
Thanks,
Tom

Picked it up last night and couldn't be happier. I bought it from a guy that just got it about six weeks ago and was fixing it up for his 16 year old nephew and decided it was too fast for a first car. He bought it from the original owner, so it's basically a one-owner.
The guy I got it from just installed a BUNCH of new parts. It doesn't need anything except a windshield and a driver's sunvisor (it's completely missing, anybody know where I can get one?). It has shiny red paint and drives down the road fast and straight, couldn't ask for more at the price I paid. My only source of frustration right now is that I have to wait until Monday to get tags on it so I can really drive it around, don't want to push my luck with no tags at all on the car.
Thanks for the welcome!

Actually, Tom, you'll find that the sunvisors are kinda hard to come by, unless you don't mind browsing a pull-apart or something of that nature.
Welcome to the forum :)

I don't mind going to the salvage yard at all, just thought I'd mention it.
Thanks!

Thanks! It's actually cleaner than the pictures. These are pics that the seller posted, and he removed the seats and steam cleaned everything before I went to drive it the first time. I still can't believe how nice it is, and it drives every bit as nice as it looks.

Don't know right now. Just a daily driver for now, maybe a little autocross or ice racing in stock classes. I'm definately doing some audio stuff soon and I've been reading about everything people on here do and thinking about some suspension and engine bolt-ons.
I have a rally car, and probably don't need to modify my DD too heavily given the amount of money that goes into the race car. I do have a hard time leaving things stock though. We'll see...
