: question about my hp, ive searched
duesmandella 10-01-2007, 06:36 PM Guys just wondering what horsepower your thinking im putting down, ive check the dyno sheets and cant seem to find an accurate picture of where im at. reason being is i dont want to go over what my maf can handle really. I trap at 111mph with the car.
Mods are
jdm sr20de from soko
gti-r turbo and manifold
370cc injectors
stock maf bored out
3 inch turboback exhaust(no cats)
s4 cams
JWT 4 bar computer for 370cc injectors, bored MAF, POP and s3/s4 idle program
11ish psi
McCoy 10-01-2007, 06:40 PM Seems damn similiar to mine... except you have S4 cams instead of my S3 cams and I was on an Avenir block. I put down 250whp and 230wtq at 10-11psi. The CR won't affect the #'s that much.
Actually, I think Chriscar had a dyno up with S4 cams... might consider digging through his old posts and see what pops up.

t bags 10-01-2007, 07:32 PM u can get a snap on scanner to measure ur inj% and maf voltage..thats what i do when tuning al.ong with a wideband.what clutch are u running?

clutchnet copper clutch disk with heavy duty pressure plate,
anyone have any idea how much that would hold? it came with the car, i havent changed it yet because its not slipping at all

PhorB13 10-01-2007, 09:05 PM I know MarkSR20 put down 246.9WHP on a DE block with a T28 and S4s.... on stock T28 boost of about 9psi.
spdracerUT 10-02-2007, 06:00 PM I would say that you're pretty much at the limits of the injectors and MAF. With a t25 and S3s, same injector/ecu/maf setup, I was hitting 5.00V and 90% injector duty cycle with a peak boost of ~11psi at 5k rpms and boost dropping to ~8psi at 7k rpms. I trapped 13.27@110.87 by the way :) You're probably right around 260whp.

if you running 111mph w slicks id say your 260-270ish
when i had 300whp i trapped 112-113mph on street tires
but with slicks the car went 114-115mph.
duesmandella 10-03-2007, 09:53 PM really? i did it on 50% tread yokohoma parada spec 2's. not the grippiest tire ever, and at a not grippie track
so that kind of scares me, deff better see what the injectors and maf are up to.
