I am trying to figure out why my remote trunk release isn't working. I havent looked to see if any cables or anything have come off but i will soon. Anyone had this problem and fixed it???

My NX had this problem last year. I could hear the trunk being released but the wait of the hatch would relatch it closed when i released the lever. I opened the hatch and unscrewed the mechanism in my trunk which grabbed the "U" shaped peice on the hatch. I moved the mechanism down a little and retightened the bolts. This worked well and I've had no problems since. Hope that helps.

Check the lock out switch in the trunk. I don't know if the NXs have this, but there is a lever right under the latch that disables the remote trunk release. Something may have hit it.
