after driving the car, i think i cant drive a stick a bit, or something is wrong. i have to rev it to near 3K to take off in 1st. and i am jerking the hell out of it in the gears. right now, its idle is about 1700rpms. if i go to 2nd and try to cruise at 25-30mph, it seens like it doesnt want to go. any ideas?

Check your spark plugs, and hi tension leads... could be the issue, when I did my det swap the plugs were shagged bad, and it wouldnt even boost up properly.
If that fails, check timing, etc... do u run a boost gauge, can you see if there's a vac leak at idle? mine still has a damn vac leak :/

I'd definetly say replace the plug wires - we had that same wierd issue with the old motor and those are the only thing we didn't change....
Thats one thing I don't have in stock :-P

sounds like you have an open in your IC piping somewhere.
makes ure your turbo outlet flange is bolted up tight. check all your hose couplings.
