well, after taking off my back wheel to inspect my brakes i noticed that my cable came off the caliper. fooled w/ it for about 2 min. then realized i wasn't going to be able to hook it back up w/ a pair of pliers as it's tough as hell.

any suggestions??

make sure the ebrake is off while trying to reattach it.

[one time i watched this poor old man struggle for hours in the snow trying to beat his rear drums off of his old oldmobile with a hammer. he looked really mean i didnt have the courage to tell him to take off the ebrake which i noticed was still on when i went to check my mail. he eventually figured it out on his own.]

if it still doesnt fit.
loosen up the adjustments- i think there is one under the car where the cable splits, but there is also one inside the car at the handle. you might have to remove the center plastic piece.

there is no reason for it not to reach at that point.

thanks BigTom, i will look into this hopefully today. lol, yeah, my ebrake was off. thats the first thing i checked.
