1991 Sentra - Base E Model (Edmunds) 2266lbs
My STS built SE-R car was 2410. From what I understand the biggest differences between the two cars are: bigger motor and heavier sway bars on the SE-R Model contributed to most of the weight difference. So any weight loss running an E model isn't so great.

Effective ratio's are after taking into account final drives. I could go farther by including tire size if necessary I guess

Rumor has it that the Focus at nats was making 170ft lbs to the wheels. Feel free to use the numbers here for reference in your letters to the SEB. I gathered them from people familiar with the cars, manufacturer websites and specific model FAQ's. If there is anything you absolutely know for sure that I am mistaken about feel free to post here.

Are you talking about GA16 or SR20 cars? The biggest difference the SE-R has over the other cars, is the factory LSD. I can't remember if adding a LSD is legal in SP or not, so that would be a moot point if so.

I'm talking sr20 cars. The LSD point is not an issue because you can add one in *SP classes.


The more I look at things - either the Focus needs to be moved to DSP or just by luck it has created a valid argument that Neons and SE-R's all belong in FSP.

You mentioned the E model, so that threw me off.

It was actually a Focus SVT in FSP at Nationals, update/backdate.

SVT is in DSP so there is no way - check the FSP weights thread in the sandbox for more details Brian.
