I went out to a local autocross to shake down my car. I got there late and it seemed like i was late for everything that day. I only got to walk the course once which resulted in my 1st run being a DNF. I backed over my compresser so my tire pressures were stuck at 36 and 31.
I am running D2 coilovers with adjustable camber plates. I also used 2o5 hankook rs2s on 15" wheels. I set my alignment at 2 degrees negative camber and 2 16th toe out. the rear beam is at O.
i placed 3 of 6 in stx.
Constructive criticism or ideas on chassis setup? Anyone?

I noticed you said you backed over your air compressor. Not having the flexibility to adjust your tire pressure can really suck. What rim/tire combo are you running and what cars were you up against?

I came 1.5 seconds behind a spec V on azenis. and .5 seconds behind a mini. Neither had suspension goodies like i have.
Im going to another one this weekend will definitely plan on being on time. I know how important being in the right mindset is. My times were getting better with each run. My 5th and last run was my best. Also leaving the compressor somewhere away from heavy object like a car should help. DOH.

That actually isn't bad for a shakedown. I normally don't make any major setup changes to a blank setup after the first test day. I just take down notes on interesting stuff, verify them the next time I'm out, and start making changes halfway through the second day. That way, you can concentrate on understanding the blank before you start screwing with it.
What I would do is get a pen and a pad to bring to your next Auto-X, and get into the habit of jotting down notes on your car setup. It's very easy to get caught up in changing stuff that you forget what works and what doesn't.
I actually have a standard setup sheet template that I print out and bring with me track.
It's available for download if you want to take a look at it:
PDF: http://www.studiovrm.net/setupsheet/CarSetupSheet.pdf
Word doc: http://www.studiovrm.net/setupsheet/CarSetupSheet.doc
I basically fill out one of those after every session. I keep a stack of them in a binder at home so I can go back and see how my car's improved, and I can go back to any setup I want if I wind up at a dead end.
Good luck, and have fun!
