I just tried to take my car for a wash and as it turns out I been blessed a dead battery. Now I still have the factory battery and its stated its uses 490 cold crank amps. My question, can I use a 850cca battery in its place? I don't want to screw up my car for a bone head move.

Thanks for the help, but the battery wouldn't fit. I had to go out and buy a new one. It wsa a trooper of a battery though, it had 121,000 miles on it.

I guess this won't matter now, but whoever had the car before had a 4x4 SUV batter put in there before i got it. 850 CCA just as you said. Car's been going for at least one and a half years with no ill effects.
