Does everyone's DET idle weird? Like sometimes it'll be smooth and some times it'll idle like it has s3's. It accelerates like a mofo, but at idle it's a little jumpy. VAC is at 20.

mine doesnt want to idle at all. it bounces up to 700 then to 1000, then to 500. and so on. i dont know. let me know if you get it figured out.

Mine idles like a champ, what ECU are you using?

Another thing I am happy about is that I don't have a CEL (Check Engine Light). I have heard many people say after they swap in a DET it comes on.

He (tuned200) is using the JWT ecu BUT he has a MIL, we put it on the snap on scanner and JWT forgot to put the resistor in for losing the EGR - can you sense I'm slightly pissed since I ordered the damn thing begining of feb. and just got it a week or so ago... I can see the phone convo now "Well just send us your ecu and in a week or two (which translate to 6-8 months or whenever we can get our child labor back in to solder in a resistor) we'll ship it back to you....

To get rid of that EGR MIL, just plug in the EGR solenoid valve. Yea the BB DET doesn't have EGR, but just leave the solenoid valve attatched and secure it somewhere. You dont' even have to hook it up to anything, just plug it in and your MIL light is gone.
