There are maybe 2-4 different sizes for radiator caps, its not as broad of a thing like an oil cap, which will be different cause valve covers are really unique to a comapny

What does upgrading the radiator cap to a different pressure level do besides cosmetics? Does it actually benefit in anyway? And what is the stock rating of a B14?

I believe that keeping the coolant at a higher pressure raises the boiling point of the coolant. Correct me if im wronge.

That is correct, this is one of the ways to make your cooling system more efficient. Anything that makes the heat exchange greater makes it more efficient.

Actually, this is why you would swap the stock cap for a 300ZX-TT cap.

The stock OEM radiator cap for the SR20DE is rated at 0.9 BAR or approximately 13.2 lbs. psi. The 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo radiator cap is rated at 1.2 BAR. This is approximately 17.6 lbs. psi. Since SR20DE powered vehicles tend to experience water pump cavitation at around 6700 rpm at stock pressure, the higher-pressure rating will help reduce the risk of cavitation.

This was a inexpensive upgrade that I could not pass up.
