There are soooo many to choose from and I have tried as many as I could. Usually in the upper performance range. Here's what I think. Bridgestones tend to be an outstanding tire. Tough, good wear and good/great performance. They are having a deal on S-03 195/50wr15. Amazing tire. The RE730 is also a great tire and is geared a little more toward all-season. I never liked any of my Dunlops (tried a few) & and Nittos are... I wouldn't get them. I hear Kumhos are good for the money. Hit these web sites and you can waste several hours figuring out what is good...

So far my all time favorite is the Pirelli P-Zero. Loved that tire in every way. Can't get it in my size anymore.

I have to reccommend the Kumho Ecsta 712's. I have them in 205/50 15 on my nx and I love them. Great dry traction and grip, and there supposed to be great in the rain as well, which I havent had a chance to check yet due to the lack of rain. They handle great around turns too. As far as im concerned, its a great overall tire and its pretty inexpensive too. www.tirerack.com has them for around 60 a piece. They have quite an agressive tread pattern as well. I have tried dunlop d60 a2's and sp sport a2's and I wasnt all that crazy about them. The tires that the kumhos compare to the most would be the bridgestone potenza re-71's that came with the car.

If you drive hard you won't like the SS20. They are smooth but they didn't provide enough grip. Use there 30 day money back policy. I did. Put 1200 miles on them then got a full refund for the tires and labor. No questions asked.

Kumho where on my car when I got it. They where badly cupped and noisy. I have heard of other people having similar issues with them. But just as many people swear buy them. Maybe it is different when they are new?

That is a common policy of Bridgestone tires. I have yet to take them up on it. But then I don't expect too much out of an economy tire. $65 is going to get you an economy tire or a sport tire with compromises in something (no matter what the add says). As the price goes up you deserve to expect more. I currently have the 205/50/15's S03’s on my 98 SE. That is a true no compromise tire BUT you pay for it in $$$ and tread life (200-220 tread wear rating IIRC). IMHO get some Bridgestone’s that fit your budget. I have nothing but good to say about every Bridgestone tire that I have ever purchased. You could also look for a tire on sale from TireRack or some discount change. I have seen the S03's on sale in some sizes for a great price.

My Kumhos were great when I 1st got them. Now they aren't quite as sticky. I keep squeeling when I leave lights unintentionally. (Did I spell that right?) I do have alot of tread left though after 8k on them. And no I don't drive like a mad woman...only on the days that end in y. :p

the newest Sport Compact Car has a great article on all of the latest High Performance all-season tires. I had Pirelli P6000's and they were ok, I now have Yokohama avs100's and like them better. I have had Firehawks and they were junk, both sets. Anyway my Yoko's were cheap, like $45 each on discount and I like them.

I put Kumho 195/55 R15's on my 200 about a year ago and have been less than satisfied. They are "cupping" and all 4 need to be replaced already. There's possibility that the cupping is caused by the car but it's been to visit 4 different mechanics and each felt it was probably the "cheap tire". Next time I'm spending the extra on the Michelin.

Listen to the man!!! I did and here's my result. I have the Potenza SO3 and I like 'em. They grip, QUITE, and good handling in the rain. This is my anology. It felt like she was wearing a dress shoe before and after installing the Potenza SO3, Now it feels like she's wearing a rubber shoes and run forever.

Pirelli P700 Z. Around $200 shipped, from tire rack. Not exactly a winter tire, though. 140 treadwear, very grippy.

Guys, exactly ZERO of the tires you have listed are all season, which is what he asked for.

The girlfriend has recently purchased some Kumho HP4 716 tires for her Altima. They are quiet, they are H-speed rated, they actually have decent grip (nothing like the tires listed here though) and they are all season. GRM reviewed them and liked them very much in the snow but said, obviously, they aren't as good as a true Winter tire.

They are cheap as hell too. 205/60/15s for $42 each at Tirerack. That's probably what I'll get for winter duty when my Unirocks finally wear out.

Edit: Just checked and the Kumho doesn't come in 205/50/15. ***...

The 4 best ones that came up on Tirerack are the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 and Sport A2, Michelin Pilot XGT V4 and H4. The Michelins are excellent choices but pricey.

What about a Yokohama Avid T4. They grip pretty well, have a 60,000 mile warranty and only cost $64 each.

There are no 15" sizes and they aren't even thinking about being all-season.

I have zero experience with these tires, but the Falken Ziex ZE-502 is an all-season performance tire. According to the Falken Tire web site (http://www.falkentire.com/html/index.htm), they come in the following sizes for 15 inch that would fit our cars:

195/50-15 H-rated
205/50-15 H-rated
195/55-15 V-rated

If the price of the Azenis is any indication, these tires should be reasonably priced as well.

yah, i was just about to comment about how nobody mentioned the falken ziex. i think they grip very very well, and are good in rain, have no idea at all about snow though (florida)...
