I'm getting my GTiR engine rebuilt soon and want to have the flywheel lightened and lightweight pulleys fitted.Would it be possible to have bespoke pulleys made up from billet alluminium on a lathe or do they have to go through some other process such as heat treating?I ask because it will be much cheaper this way but obviously I don't want to risk the wheels breaking up and the water pump failing etc.
Has anyone on here just had these mods done with no other changes and got some before and after 1/4mile times?
