this water leak is still driving me nuts.....another thing i was thinking of is, maybe the throttle body coolant lines are leaking, does anyone have a picture of where the other end of the lines go ? or can anyone tell me ?... the origin of the leak is somewhere in that vicinity......I'm trying to go through my options before i get the water pump replaced, because that may not be the problem...
thanx...if someone wants to scan a pic in the FSM , i'll let you borrow my sister...

Humm I spent alot of time here lately around the intake and I can tell yeah that one of the TB coolant lines go to a metal tube under the intake. There is a few lines under there and all I can tell you is get a light and jack your car up and start looking. Seems like you can see everything pretty well from underneath.

thanx for the tip, in your opinion , if there was a leak around there, would you not be able to see a puddle on the ground, because the water would evaporate due to hitting the block before it reaches the ground ?
i have a puddleless leak....and this has been throwing me off...

How do you know you have a leak if there is no puddle.? are you always low on water.? what are the signs you are seeing...that might help in a diagnosis

i have to put about 1 liter into the reservoir every3 days....in the morning there is a puddle when i first start it, but after a day of driving the block is hot and the water evaporates when it hits it...hence no puddle...other than that it runs like a champ...
