My horn doesnt work from the wheel but when i use my panic button on the keyless entry it works just fine. Wire inside the steering wheel most likely? Or what?

i ahve a 95 200sx se-r with a broken hron too...but me keyfob no longer works so i dont *** whats goin on...im an EE major and i have a great multimeter but ive been too lazy to figure this out.. hehe ; P

Don't quote me on this, but I'm almost positive that the 200 has two horns. One for the factory security and one for the actual horn.

That is correct.

just roll down the window, yell and use your finger. the wire way have just fallen off at either end. they are just little slipon connectors

There are only so many possible reasons it doesnt work.

1. Check the wires up front, if it goes into the horn or not.

2. Check relay/fuse

3. Pop off the wheel cover, see if the wire on that end got disconnected somehow.

4. maybe the wire ripped.

hey guys thanx for giving me the ambition to check out my horn....its only been a year! i did a quick test on the plug right at the horn and it reads 12 volts when the wheel is depressed so i guess i need a new horn!! does that sound right to any of you se-r masters?

i have a ford horn from my moms old t bird it sounds soo much better than the little car horn that my nx used to have you could find one at a junkyard you could probly get it really cheap and you use the original ground plate and the same power cable it was easy now my car sounds like a bigger one its a great thing
