I noticed my car was not handling as good as it should lately considering all of the suspension upgrades I have. While under the car today to replace my knock sensor, I noticed that the passenger side metal bracket that bolts the bar to the car body was broke. I couldn't believe it. The metal was just broke along the length of the inside "U". Obviously when I turn the bar just moves down now.
Anyone have a spare that they no longer need or can anyone tell me where I might get a replacement bracket i.e. how to contact Suspension Techniques?
Steve
Is the bracket a stock bracket or did ST supply you with it? If it's a stock one then you can get one off of any B13, SR or GA. I would venture to say that any B14 one would work too.

You know, I cannot for the life of me remember if the bracket is stock or came with the bar. The ST sway bar was my very first upgrade and that was over five years ago.
Does anyone know the answer to this?

The brackets are not stock. You'll either have to contact ST for another one or you might be able to find one at a parts store that'll fit.

Yep Jim is dead on. The brackets should have came with your ST sway bars as it did with mine. ST does sell them individually so you can buy it from them for replacement.

Thanks guys! I'll try and call ST today. Lets just say that cornering with my car now does not inspire confidence.

Thats a common problem. I broke 2 left side U brackets. I have spares but it is so cheap it is worth it for you to call them. Order extra from ST while you are there. Try to get some extra bushings too. Makes sense since you are making the call. The hardware from them is 10X's cheaper than from a dealer.

Is the ST sway bar something I should do? I've that it increases understeer and I don't want that. I bought a set of front and rear from a fellow forum member, but I've only installed the rear so far. Right now I do mostly autocrossing and street driving.

Well, I just got off the phone with Suspension Techniques. What a nice person that woman is! She said she was sending a replacement out today. Also an extra one in case the other broke. The best part: no charge. She said the only way that she had heard this happens is if the bushing sticks out beyond the bracket a little. Looks like some careful driving for a week and then its back to carving the canyons of New Jersey.
