Well today the nx took a poop on me and the intake cam broke into 2 peices. So i was wondering if anyone would be willing to purchase a "nx1800" as i want to call it. I will be using it as a donor car to make my sentra a SE-R somotor tranny and brakes and suspension stuff will be exhanged for sentra SE b13 things. No rear disk smaller front disk 1.6 motor and tranny and such. it will run and drive and the body isnt bad at all if not I may part it out or try to sell it localy as a nx1600. but inteiror will still be stock including seats and everything just suspension and motor swap from a 1.6. But let me know.

Well if you broke an intake cam, I think I have an idea what did it. i had an SE-R do the same thing. The oil gallaries on the intake side of the head got clogged and no oil was reaching one part of the cam.

I DO however have a set of highport cams that I'd be willing to sell you. There is no need to swap EVERYTHING out of one car and into another if the fix is pretty simple. Let me know either way bro. Good luck.

well i dont really need the cams as i have a spare sr20de motor that came with my nx. but if im going to have to swap motors id much rather have my sentra sr20'd than the nx. im going to attempt to swap out the cam and if that does the trick ill keep driving the nx till it breaks again. but i have to catch up to my friend and see when he can meet me to go get my spare motor from his parents house.

how much are you selling your nx1800? how's the interior and exterior? any pics? i'm interested....

it will be a few weeks before i can have it all swapped out and at that time i can get some pics and an idea of a price but the interior and extieror are pretty good and t-tops dont leak .

Ok so after messin with it today i dont think im gonna sell the "nx1600" as a whole car simply becuase no one is going to want it. The drivers 1/4 has bondo all up in it no rust or nothing but it was alotta little dents so instead of pullin them out the bondo'd over it. after i fix my honda to drive daily i will be starting the se-r conversion and ill let you guys know whats up with it

its not too bad but no one wants a car with bondo'd 1/4 panels i mean im gonna bust the bondo out and look at it and i might rebondo and still sell it im not sure but first i gotta figure out what im going to do about this stupid Speedo sensor.


O the lip is cracked to peices,foglights are MIA and nothings suspension wise will be availible.. just incase i do part it out also no t-top bags hatch inteiror and the shocks on the hatch are blown.

ok first it was a nx2000 then a 1800 and now a 1600... which one is it lol.. and if you have a spare motor why take the one out of the nx??? are you just taing parts for the sentra??? i think you should sell the car and collect the parts from other for your swap.. i can get you started in some of the parts... dont destroy another rare nx..

well i guess technicly its still a nx2000 lol but i was sayin nx1800 $$$ its a 2000 with 1600 suspension and drivetrain but still nx2000 body lol and this nx2000 is a waste of metal 1/4 panel is bondo fenders are dented doors have dents hood doesnt work that gret drivers door sags hatch shocks are gone i mean too much little crap to worry about fixxin it.

its not a bad shell at all i just dont like it as much as my sentra and as i have 3 other vehicle no point in fixxing it, Be better off just use it for what i had orignaly planned and finish my SE-R+ conversion.
