When I accelerate sharply and come off the accelerater my shifter rocks back and forth like it wants to come out of gear. Sometimes it pops out of 4th gear. I dont understand why the shifter rocks so hard when I slow down and occassionally pop out of 4th gear. I have the ES torque mount inserts. Can somebody help me.

I dunno have you checked all of your motor mounts, not just the torque strap? Also maybe you need to replace your shifter bushing? I know that my shifter was more stable after replacing my motor mounts.

YEah I would go with a shifter bushing...helped alot for me
