Well, I think my car is showing it's age. I noticed that my A/C compressor is leaking oil. I don't know if this can be fixed or I will need a new compressor. The A/C is still blowing cold air but not like before and the compressor also is making some whining noise.

Any of you know how much will cost a new OEM compressor? Can anyone tell me the part number for it?

Also I need to know the part number for a OEM fuel pressure regulator.

I will appreciate your help. Thank in advance.

The sound it makes, does it sound like someone blowing the top of an empty beer bottle?

I'm also getting this whining noise on my 200SX. It happens when my car is idling at 800RPM. When I rev the engine to 1000-1100RPM and hold it there, the whining stops. I wonder if it has anything to do with the AC unit not getting enough juice. I doubt that it's anything serious, my car has been doing it for 2 or 3 years now and my AC is still fine.

If you need a new compressor, I suggest that you buy a used one for 1-2 hundred bucks. I can't quite remember the price but the dealer price is a bit too expensive. There are a bunch of people in this forum that are doing DET swaps and end up taking out their AC to get few more horses so you can get something decent for cheap.
