Oh I know it, it's a real ego trip to help people out. Hanging out with people who know less than you makes you feel smart. :D Naw, I enjoy helping people out with stuff, and I'm glad for the opportunity.

i dont mind helping people out, but when youve gotta help a million people out with the same question over and over, it gets really annoying. it seems almost every newbie over there asks about body kits and engine swaps right off the bat.

What's wrong with driving a 1.6? That's a shitty thing to say. It may suprize you, but there are actually some serious people trying to squeeze something out of this engine. I feel the same way as you guys as far as the noobs though, I'm getting tired of going over there and seeing the same dumb post three times, just worded slightly differently. And people keep them going and going.

Newbies are just that...newbies. Everybody's gotta start somewhere right? I don't see anything wrong with newbie questions. If they don't ask they'll never know. Sure you might say that they can do a search, but the thing about most newbies also is that they're not "taught" to do a search before they ask and they honestly don't see anything wrong with asking a question before searching.

Just my views of course :)

I agree with you. I don't want this forum to become so overrun with anger from people asking the same question over and over again. Thats the thing I love about this forum, or used to love. There used to be so many new posts every day I would spend maybe two hours just browsing through reading all of them. Now it seems as though the 200sx forum is dead, and the only place where posts are commonplace are the general and off-topic forums. My .02 cents.

My point exactly Son Of Skyline, and I'm glad people don't get all pissy at them over there like they do here. I think some people forget that they weren't born knowing it all and won't give a newbie the time of day. And now it's been set in stone that newbies can't start a new thread for 2 weeks. And I thought our newbie questions were at least tolerable here. Hence why I started this thread, you think it's bad here, go there and readjust your pallet.

Maybe you should learn to comprehend what is being said before you say "That's a shitty thing to say" The reason I said they all drive a 1.6 is because earlier someone stated that They all ask about body kits and engine swaps. I was commenting on the engine swap deal. It so happens that a lot of individuals who drive a 1.6 often think about swapping to an sr20de or det motor. Have a good day.

My personal favorite:

WHO'S AGX

I understand that everyone is a newbie at one time, but that one was just too funny and ignorant!:D

lmao! Those are the greatest pictures. I think you should make an online album of them so I can look everyday when I am mad, and remember that people think the same evil things I do.

Fine, but it seemed like yet another crack on the 1.6 that I always see from SR20 guys which pisses me off every time.

It wasn't too long ago that someone was trying to install a CAI backwards.

Who are you talking about eric? :D I wasn't trying to install it backwards, I was...uh...confused about the MAF. Since the hotshot instructions were like "see illustration C." Upon examination, I noticed there were no pictures however! Also I didn't get a sticker either. I thought the package was supposed to come with one??

Uknow I remember it was probably a little over a year back when I started using the internet to find out more about my car and *** I could do. I was the definition of a NEWBIE. But luckily I came across the right people....SyndicateBro,1CLNB14, etc. I didnt know much at all--I had already made the mistake of buying used Arospeed coilovers and a POS universal exhaust...

But after alot of reading, questions, searches...I now consider myself to be on the right track and Im doing alot more answering these days.

My point is that when you're a newbie especially one with a Nissan that you've seen no support on the street for. You're excited and full of questions about everything...

So give em' a break.....even if they are asking who AGX is and trying to install a CAI backwards
