can beat pacesetter for price. midrange performance is great. fitment sucks, we had to enlarge a few bolts on the flange to fit because they didnt line up. quality sucks, well with the painted version that is. paint immediately burns off. Although the paint burns off, i would rather save the 100 bucks and get that instead of the ceramic version. Looks ugly but works great!

If you decide to go this way, you may want to get the black version and farm out the coating job, unless Pacesetter or your supplier has the coated one in stock. They are terrible on their backorders, and the coating source they use is just as slow....FYI..

Once again.......................
That black coating is just for shipping purposes. Its not made to stay on. Because it DEFINITLEY does not stay on.

The Pacesetter is the BEST HEADER out there. Like it or not.
The sig says it all!!!!
and so do my taillights!!!!!!

The fitment is the WORST. But nothing a lil Dremmel Tool cant handle.

Well, all i have to say is good luck finding one. Pacesetter has been out of them since before last christmas. I know, me and my boy nismoser both tried to order one back in January and to no avail, they still arent made. 7 months later and there still on backorder. And they always say the same thing....it will be another 6-8 weeks or so. yeah ok!!! Never gonna happen!

about the pacesetter...

for $20 from www.eastwoodco.com (under specialty coatings) you can get exhaust manifold paint in silver that resists heat up to 1400*F. or the black that is resistant up to 1200*F. however they recommend using a chemical paint stripper to remove the PS coating and an adhesion promoter.

so for 180, you get a cheap header and a durable coating.
