I have a little bit of oil in my resevoir tank and radiator. I have no problems with cooling and I haven't noticed any oil shortage. What does this mean? I'm thinking that maybe we got a little oil in the system with all of our dirty hands and whatnot, but I'm not sure. Any comments?

sounds like you have a blown head gaskit if you see oil in the coolint

Oh man, describe a little bit.
A few floatin globs, a surface film or a 1" layer floatin.
Doors 1&2 and you may be right. Number 3 and you'd better come over and test yer compression.

There are like super tiny little oil things, kinda floating around. NOT a one inch glob, but like if you don't shake italian dressing enough, you get little things of oil in the water. When can I come by and check the old compression?

I should be home from werk after 5:30, let me know and stop on by. Friday i'm booked, weekend there's a party Sat evening but open otherwise.

We put new coolant in when we dropped in the motor. I also used water wetter and a 300zx TT radiator cap. There was however, a whole bunch of black crap in the resevoir tank after we already filled up the anti-freeze. After I noticed the black stuff, I took out the resevoir and cleaned it. I have yet to change the coolant, but I want to make sure. So, no I'm not sure it's just old coolant crap.
