Hey guys pretty sure not too many people on here are running s14 sr20det's but i know you guys are knowlegable to give your educated opinions. Ok motor is fully built top to bottom. Have a direct-port setup with a 100 shot. Still in the process of putting the nitrous on but, wanted to know what you guys think i should do?? Run the car with boost and then retard it to run the nitrous or what kind of timing controller can i use? I probably will be tuning the car with safc 2 just to compensate for the z32 maf and larger injectors, the car has minor bolt ons including fmic, full exhaust, cams. Or should I just have the timing retarded and run it like that without nitrous too (it might feel weak cause of the timing being retarded) Also, I want to make sure where I tapped the intake manifold is a good spot? Anyone running a direct-port setup can they provide pictrures or should I???

Anyone's opinion is highly respected, thanks in advance,

Mark

tap it just like everyone else that does a low port-if this is a stock turbo then 15psi or so, good tune-104 gas and a 100 shot will be fine...we need more info on what your exact setup is though. depending on what turbo and boost pressure, stock timing should be fine

so, you ask if it will work, it will, and then you say it's worthless, and try to sell it in this thread. post it in the classifieds, not here..

BTW, a 100 shot would be far from inefficient on a turbo motor. you'd probably make a bit more power because it's boosted, and you'd cool the intake down even more.

cooling down the charged air will definitly be efficent

sorry should of explained i thought about it and asked an experienced shop they said i really wouldnt get the 100 shot because the turbo can't flow that much while boosting 10-15 psi and that it would only be efficient if i went with a bigger turbo

thanks i just posted it in the classifieds.

spraying the intercooler would be efficient and drop temps ALOT.
