The other day I noticed that the passenger side "U" bracket that bolts my front sway bar to the car body was broke at the seam next to the bolt. The "U" part of the bracket was just hanging on the one side.

I called ST and even though I bought the bar about five years ago, she was sending a replacement (actually two) and wasn't charging me anything. I was very pleased.

This is the exact opposite of the service I have gotten from them. I ordered my sway bar set about 5 years ago. The rear bar went on just fine, but the front bar had some problems. I looked at the picture of Mike Kojima's in SCC, and mine didn't look like his. I called them, and the guy told me I was installing it wrong. I told him it was hitting the shift linkage, and then he told me that they didn't make a front B14 bar for a 5spd yet. I told him that was funny since I was looking at a picture of one at the same time. After a few calls, they said they were making one, and would send it to me. I had to pay for that one, and they would credit me once they got the wrong one back. After a few weeks, I goit the new one. I called, and they said they would pick the other one up. I gave them my work address, since no one would be home during the day. Months past, and the thing was still at work with me. I kept calling, and they kept saying they would pick it up. I think after almost 10 months they finally picked it up. I had to wait for another few months, and several phone calls, for them to credit my credit card. They get an F- in my book.

50% good, 50% bad. Your situation was a lot more involved ,though, than mine.
