After more than a year of searching in central florida, I have found a 91NX 2000. *busts a move*
After driving an 89 pulsar for a year, than test driving the NX, i was more than amazed at the performance. The brakes are fantastic, gotta love all wheel disc. chirping the tires in 2nd gear is so easy, i did it on accident.
only one prob, its an automatic... but when the engine comes out for a little "tuning" I will more than likely convert it to a 5 speed.
But what can I say, its an NX, it has an SR20DE, and it was mechanic owned. AND ITS MINE! for the nice sum of 2300 dollars.
Just had to share my happieness... now go back to work! :p

YOu chirped the tires in 2nd with an auto on a test deive. WOW. I have to manually shift mine around 7500 to get a good chirp.

Chirp into second???? An Automatic???
As an Automatic owner, I'm gonna go ahead and say you need some new/better tires.

tires have lots of tread left...
I thought it was quite odd how powerful it felt.

Could be the motor mounts or the tranny is shifting too hard.
This will cause an auto SR20DE to slam into 2nd gear and could possibly chirp the tires from the force.
Test drove a '91 G20 auto for my wife and it slammed hard as hell into 2nd gear and guess what...
...it chirped the tires. Scared the shit outta me how hard it slammed into gear.

yah i know what u mean. this thing shifted and chirped the tires, it actually got loose. if i got in it, man i can only imagine. it felt chrisp though. best automatic ive ever driven

BTW - Illusive - That G20 has got to be one of the best looking ones I've seen.
