I went drag racing yesterday and I did 3 runs, two of them with 22 psi on the tires and 14 psi on the t25. Tires were crying on first, second and third gear (I was running on fourth LOL), I ran 14.9 at 101 mph, My best run was 14.4 at 102 mph and 18 psi on the tires, preloading the clutch and launching at 3000rpm, 2800 on the last run

I was using bf-goodrich kdw-II tires with the suspension setup of my sign.

I think my rear suspension it's too soft, I'm thinking on using some kind of traction bars and something to make my rear suspention stif, what do you guys think?

here are my sad numbers:

Talk about serious traction issues. Lol. You need to get those 60' times down. That would help a little but seems like the track sucks half way down or something.

I was at the strip this past Sunday and my first run I had a 2.6 60ft, 14.0, and 105.44 mph. It seems like you are having traction issues but your mph seems low too.

My best run was a 60ft of 2.154, time 13.3, and 106.31 mph. I'm on a t25@12-13psi and S4s. I was running on drag radials although they are about 6-7 years old.

WOW good times, i can't wait to touch the 13's, I was running on street tires and 16 inch wheels, maybe that's what's killing my top speed, I ones ran 14 flat using nitto drag extreme on 14' inch wheel, trap speed was 103 mph, I think I should check my tunning

with a good 60ft (2.0 or better) your car will run in the 13.5 range.

Thanks a lot bro, right now I'm on the hunt for some drag radials and to stifer my rear suspention.

here are two vids, the first one is using nitto drag radials at 15 psi, lauching at 3000 rpm. I spin on first and second like creazy.

Second vid it's of our reunion at the track, I ran two times, one against a Z car powered by a 350 chevy, and another against a Mustang, take a look at my wheel spin, I was ussing street tires at 18 psi.

Thanks a lot bro, we go to that track every friday night, hehehe, sometimes we don't run, just enjoy the show but some times, the people that run the place, let us make a barbacue, so, imagine a grill with a lot of meat while whatching the races, it's very nice.

Did you check the first vid? I was using the nittos and even with those couldn't get traction, can you hear my spining? terrible..
