My car is acting wierd I can start it up but when I turn the lights on the temp goes all the way up and shuts the car off the tach doesnt work anymore and the lights dim out then this buzzing noise comes from the ecu! I accidently crossed the + and - teminals on the battery, would that have caused it? What can I do to fix it?

You know that red plastic connector that attaches to the positive battery terminal? One of the wires coming out of it is fusible link wire, about 4 inches long (or so); I did the exact same thing (put the battery in 180 degrees wrong), and fried this link. You have two choices: go to Falhaber and get a replacement, which cost me $14 (did eventually) or go to AutoZone , get some fusible link wire and a couple big-ass spade connectors (half-inch, I think), and stick them in there to get you by. I drove this way for a few days with no trouble, but I wouldn't recommend doing it longer.
When I did it I had no guages or lights, but the car ran OK.
Hope this helps.
