my buddy just got back from JAPAN and brought back the brakes from a R32 skyline... how hard would it be to install it onto my classic and what would i need??? i already have the AD22 on my car, but since i'm putting on the R32 head and taillights, i was wondering if it was possible to put on the R32 brakes also...

Aren't the skyline's 5 lug?? that would be a PITA... for the costs involved, I would just get the FastBrakes setup...

Dont sweat it bro, I've seen like 3 other threads where he brings people down for trying to do something new, or original. I say go for it. If you can put the headlights on, and make it look nice, then why not do it.

As for the brakes, it might take some work, and persuasion, but I'm sure it can be done.

Good luck, and keep us posted on how the upgrade goes.

Can you see if your friend can bring a manual transmission back from Japan for Bowlcut? I'm guessing that's his problem. That or he's tired of getting passed by riced out Hondas.

I'm not trying to bash Auto's at all. I'm just tired of seeing Bowlcuts bashing...

I'm not big into the light mods either, but if you can pull that off that'd be quite original, and I'm all about that. People in general shoot down stuff they haven't triend, it's only when someone does it without saying and then shows the results and then everyone wants to do it. Or someone will build some DIY part and then get offers from lots of people to buy copies of it. Once I get an SE-R I'm going to try out things that other people haven't done, mostly peformance related though.

By the way, Serban, I fucking dig that pic of your car!

I agree with you, if I started asking questions about doing power windows before I did them, people would probably ask why I want do to that, it will add weight, blah blah blah...but once I posted pictures, and talked about them, a lot of people like the idea.
