: Rear alignment on a B14?

Okay I heard with our multi-link beam, there is nothing to align in the rear........... however, I am experiencing more wear on the insides of the rear than normal..... I will post before and after pics after I drive a little more to show what I'm talking about..... What is the culprit of my tire wear? I didn't even drop my car that much, maybe 1-1.5". I am running the KYB AGX/GC's (325/250) . Can different AGX settings potentially cause abnormal wear (I have it set at 3/4 now)? The strange thing is my front's seem to be wearing fine, so I would say that lowering it didn't affect it too badly....

You could have the wheels rubbing the inside fenders, and the rear alignment would be the same.

sounds to me like you have some toe-out in the rear. while the MLB doesn't require alignment like the IDRS, you can do little things to tweak it (like having the beam bent for camber). i would take it to a shop and have 'em throw it up a machine and take a looksee. i've never noticed a difference in wear 'tween the setting in the rear (i'm riding on 6 right now). those are for rebound and dampening not camber, toe and caster.

UclaGee: You're in luck! The absolute best alignment shop is in Southern CA! Go to WestEnd alignment in Gardena, they're are the people who were featured on NPM a few months back. They have the right equipment to bend the rear beam safely and they will even set it a "0" toe. If you're a SERCA member you will even get a discount. I'm getting ready to take my car over there as soon as I can make an appointment.

Yeah I was thinking about going there, but their alignments sure are pricey.. once I get it all done, it should be set for a loooooooong time right... Anyways, I'm thinking about getting new tires soon , so does it matter if I get it aligned with my old crap tires (that have a little uneven wear on it already), or should I put on the new tires and then get it aligned......

I would absolutely put the the rubber on it prior to having it aligned. Who cares if tear the hell out of the old tires, so put the new on just in case the tire is slightly taller, wider or just sits on the rims a little different.

JMHO, for whatever that's worth (not much if you ask my wife!)
