I have a '93 SR20 that put down 139.6whp, and 125ft. lbs. or torque. i'm going to be bolting on a NX Wet Kit with a 50 shot. My stock clutch slips horribly when hot, so I'm looking to upgrade. I don't want anything to pricey, because i'm going to swap sometime and don't want to be dumping a bunch of money into two clutches. I was thinking a ACT Organic disc/Stock PP, but I'm not sure how well that would hold up. That combo would be quite affordable. What do you guys suggest...I'm pretty sure on the ACT Disc.....but what about the PP....maybe JWT or maybe ACT HD? Thanks a bunch.

I have the ACT Stage 1 disc w/ stock PP. It has been holding strong for about a year now and I drive on it very hard. It's feel is just like stock but it has twice the grip.

ACT and Clutch Net both offer Organic Street discs. Most street discs are organic material.

www.clutchspecialties.com Hyperclutch PP with street disk.
i dont recommend a organic clutch with NOS. If you wanna go real cheap, like what you stated, get a clutchnet 3 or 4 puck sprung hub disc($120, gotta bargain the price down) with your stock P/P. The smaller surface area on the puck style disc will increase clamping pressure slightly and the metallic friction material will not burn out on you.

YO, Trust me kid,If you got a 50 shot of nos and you wanna go cheat get a kevlar disc and a p/p thats a little better than stock.
You live in Largo, there is a place in ft.lauderdale that has a
kevlar cluch and a bluebird sr20det p/p for $210.It will grab hard
and it won't fuck up your p/p,cause if you get a ceramic disc and
a stock p/p you will havw problems trust.I already been through it
and I don't even have nos!!!!!!!!!!!

I do.
My ProActive organic disk and sub-2,200lb pressure plate have taken over 120 dragstrip launches, at 5,000rpm+, mostly on drag radials. Plus another 40 autocross events as well.
Only now, under the constant power of the T28, is it beginning to slip.
Organic clutches work just fine with nitrous (especially 'only' a 50 shot). Get a quality pressure plate and you'll be just fine, IMHO.

Yeah, organics are made to handle heat, that's why they hold nitrous so well. I know i am the one asking here....but I know that one for a fact.
wrong, organic clutches tend to fade when hot.

Advanced Clutch Technologies and I would both beg to differ.
