Hey whats goin all! We are in the middle of the motor swap. Im removing my current sr20DE right now. Which being a pain in the @ss...Due to the fact we havent pull a FWD motor. Most of the problem is pull loose the damn half shafts. Im still not really sure on how to go about that. Ive heard un-bolt the two bolts from the sturt, but then??!!! Anyways...I need help in the area..Other than that all the other things are disconnected! This is the last and only problem. And we are on the beginning of Day 2. So...We are near the prep of the new DET motor also. All help will be good and I will keep you guys updated. thnx

When I pulled mine, I used a crowbar to initially pry the green casing away from the diff, then used a huge screwdriver placed on the axle dust shield and hammered the shafts out. You will probably have to replace the dust shields this way, but they cost about $2.00. The driver's side is quite a bit harder to remove than the passenger's side, because of the snap ring at the end of the shaft.

Make sure the hub end of the axle is free first before doing this...

Well is anyone is paying any attention or cares...The motor was just pulled a while ago. The engine bay is damn clean with a bad-@ss mixture of things. And it seems that the swap is going good and will be done within the next day or two. And I dont see too many problems we will run into. If you want to input any info, go for it! later

The new DET motor is now and has been actaully prepped pretty well. Just missing a few things to install and exchange. For exmaple the distrubutor and a etc etc...Also the flywheel which I totally forgot had and will be resurfaced Monday monring. Other than that...All brackets and what not have been moved to new motor. The A/C bracket, motor mounts, and what not. So...will be done and started most likely Monday late afternoon.

ur goin to need to break off one of the webbings on the engine for the cross member to fit right. U could get it back up without doing it but u would need longer bolts so just break it off u will see where it hits it.
