ive been thinking about it for a while and i was thinking of doing a ve+t swap.
i would love to see atleast 300whp. i only have one question though... would it pass inspection and emissions? reason i ask is that my car is a b14 200sx but you use a b13 ecu for the swap.

also would i be the youngest ve+t owner on this forum?
im 16

i doubt it will pass inspection and emissions.. mine doesnt pass anything. sometimes i rather just go n/a but boost is great. being young is great i just turned 17 and im always the youngest at the meets.

Technically speaking, neither of you own your cars. Most likely your parents do. And I'm guessing they're a bit older than 16 and 17.

oh and my plan was to buy the ve in spring build it up while its on the stand, drop it in around june when new pistons and rods were in along with the turbo setup. then ill have something to enjoy when school ends and summer vacation starts.

but i need to make sure it passes inspection

o yea well i own 3 cars and i just turned 19, I have my SE-R, a 94 Geo convertible, and a mint 82 fiat spider 2000, w/ 60k miles one it....ha beat that,

congrats, but IMO 300+ WHP seems a bit much for an inexperienced driver to have, you WILL wreck it.... kinda like the "you'll shoot your eye out kid" thing... even a modded stock SE-R seems a bit much for a immature young adult, i remember the shit i did in my XE before i got my SE-R, pure idiotic

im not that inexperienced
ive driven a few cars that have more then 300 whp

im not the kind of kid that would go flying down a street in the rain i paid for my car so i respect it i dont like the idea of wasting money on a car and being completely reckless with it

Why even bother getting a ve? You can make yoru power level with a de+t or a det.

Power is power. I mean if you want the VE bling factor I guess you can pay for extras you don't really need.

300whp is gonna be super crappy for traction in a fwd sentra.

I have a VE in NY but its registered in Florida (where im from) we have no inspections or emissions down there. DE-T would be the route for you unless you are rich, but then you wouldnt have a sentra

oh ok
so ill just attempt to build a highpower de+t cause i am pretty far from rich lol

Learn how to drive with a det with a t25 before you go any bigger. VET are harded to tune and a DET will get your power you want no problem.

Boost the motor in your car with a basic T25 kit bro. Thats your best bet and it will move. I did that and I love the T25. I have traction issues first through third and the car runs consistent 13's on street tires. Maybe we could work out a deal on my turbo setup once I upgrade which is coming soon. ;)

BTW, NYC has probably most of the baddest VE's rolling around. We have a lot here in NY.

well im gonna be doing ALOT of suspension work and some brakework.

i guess ill just stick to a t25 kit with mild boost

I was 16 last year around this time when my friend and I installed my DET. I have done all the other mods in my sig myself and I am only 17...
