Well I wasted my money on a pacesetter header....These things suck. I had to Mill down the flange to get it to fit, port match it, my uncle Bob and it's done. Well after almost 3 months of having it, the damn thing started to leak. Not a small leak but a massive leak. No problem, I know their (pacesetter) reputaion, I weld the thing up. This can not be made out of a good quality mild steel. The electrode I used was ER70S-3, an all purpose wire for steel. This will not take a weld very nicely. I did get it done however, and back on the NX. Today it started to leak again, this time on the collector.... Screw Pacesetter. This thing is getting hacked apart, and I making my own. Pacesetter is a copy of the Gen4 Hotshot right? I am going to try this out of stainless steel. Type 304 for the flange, maybe 6-8mm thick. And I am thinking the tubes will be made of 321 stainless maybe 3mm thick. Any sugestions? Never made a header before...

I had to Mill down the flange to get it to fit,

when I swapped my engine last wek I noticed the flange was inconsistant and had to file down the high spots. I noticed it was slightly leaking when I looked at the gasket.
Bet you can sell it quick in the For Sale forum.

Unless they have changed it, Pacesetter ripped off the 1st gen HS header.
