my previous best was a 12.3@116MPH on 17psi with a 2.0 60ft.
vid of that run on my previous thread found here http://www.sr20forum.com/members-rides/217475-my-nx-update-pics-vid.html

took her to the track yesterday on 20psi and a 50/50 race gas/pump gas mix.

i was shooting for a 118MPH trap....

first run:
rolling out of the hole just to see what it would trap.
60'- 2.5:redface:
1/8- 8.9@90.8MPH
1/4- 13.1@120MPH:D

second run:
launched on 2-step, short shifted second a little.
60'- 2.1 (i know, i know, i need bigger slicks)
1/8- 8.1@93
1/4- 12.30@121:biggthump

any other fast NX's out there? just curious, i havent heard of many, post up!
needless to say i was very pleased.... here's a pic, sorry, no vid.

Get some traction stuff and you'll be atleast half a second faster.

damn that car is moving pretty well. with some more seat time, hello mid 11s. good job. what kind of power is this set up making?

i think i'm beyond the limit of the 22" slicks...

and i have no idea how much power this setup makes.

What RPM are you launching at?

that my be true, but i still think with the right driving you could be doing 1.8-1.0 60fts

the only really bad thing about the 22in slick is that it shortens your gears and making you put it into 5th a lot sooner. if your able to rev 4th gear out with some 24.5in i think you will see even higher mph.

Good runs. As said before bigger slicks=traction and some really fast times.

I have no 1/4 mile times but my best 1/8th mile was 7.9@92mph. That was with the stock motor, before pistons and cams.

i can get pretty consistent 2.0 60' times, which still aren't good enough, but it's not my driving. i'm launching at about 5500rpms with about 5psi of boost. i pretty much can't help from keeping the tires from spinning through first gear.

and i'm not shifting into fifth, i'm finishing the 1320 in fourth gear, even with the shorter gears of my B15 trans.

the 22X8X15 slicks are pretty close to the circumference of a 185/60/14 or a 205/50/15...

that's awesome, i think you would've hit 11's in the 1/4 for sure. you should PM me details on your setup. i'm curious because i'm always hearing about these big turbo SE-R's but never NX's...

You want to end the 1/4 mile in 4th gear, right at the top of 4th.

I can tell you this. I used to pull 1.7's/1.8's with tires that small, trapping 118MPH. So just try riding the clutch out a bit in first, don't dump, even though you'll really want to.

No big turbo here. It's all in my sig. Should run better once I get it tuned, it's never seen a dyno. Btw I run on 22x8x13 slicks pulling 1.7 60 fts.

Congrats on your times.Nice trap speed.Your nx is soo clean looking mang.
I'm running 24.5" slicks but they still spin tru 1st & 2nd gear.

well, your car is WAY lighter than mine, you don't have to worry about spooling a turbo to make boost off the start line, and your slicks have a much taller sidewall....

thanks, i'd like to see pics of your slicks. if you have them, either PM them to me or post em up in this thread.

You don't have to make boost off the line. That's actually probably hurting you as far as traction goes.

my two step is hooked up to a relay using the clutch switch. my problem is that my clutch engages after the clutch switch is off, therefore my 2step turns off before i start moving and if i try to slip the clutch then it will free rev before i start moving.

so basically i need to stop bein lazy and do something about getting more adjustment out of my clutch.

my ideal launch would be 2step it and build boost while slipping the clutch to a 1.7-1.8 60' :biggthump
