Jan this year I dynoed with stock DET, top mount with no flow, on 38C day heat. I achieved 158HP (117kw)

Since then I've had front mount intercooler done, with aluminium pipes.

Today I dyno'ed in 10C temp's (damn it was cold) and used water spray on my new fmic, with a massive fan in front of the car... same standard boost. I achieved 191.9HP (143kw).

The dyno's were both different dyno's, however, both these dynos have been run with other cars whom I was with and some cars with no mods or changes ended up with very very simular results to the Jan run...

Interesting Gain from Front Mount i/c with the water spray... One run was done in 4th gear, the other in 3rd gear. There was a 2hp difference between these runs.

A little boost and I'll be up over 200hp fairly easily. neato.

very nice car man, no doubt you'll be putting down 200hp in no time.

hmmm Dynoed a stock BBdet open down pipe stock intercooler. It put down 200hp and 198lb of tq. After he put on the down pipe (2 1/4) it droped to 170hp. Ur problem might be that u need a better flowing exhaust. 3" all the way back from the O2 housing and get rid of the cat. U should beable to hit 200. What was ur A/F like? did they hook up a wide band to it? a little more timing will put u there too but not too much haha u could blow ur motor.

Are these whp or flywheel hp?

at the wheels figures.

I run the stock "down pipe" we call "dump pipe".. I had a look at it not long ago whilst removing my aircon, its SHIT. its all crunched up and bent, factory dump pipes are so craaaap. My 3" mandrel system comes off the dump pipe.

I'll get a custom, more open one made, i now have the space anyway now that the aircon is gone. Good idea. Could probably get a nice gain right there... less restriction. I plan to keep my cat at all times. It's a nice 3" stainless walker item anyway... all good.

Thanks for the comments on the car, getting there :)
