Jan this year I dynoed with stock DET, top mount with no flow, on 38C day heat. I achieved 158HP (117kw)
Since then I've had front mount intercooler done, with aluminium pipes.
Today I dyno'ed in 10C temp's (damn it was cold) and used water spray on my new fmic, with a massive fan in front of the car... same standard boost. I achieved 191.9HP (143kw).
The dyno's were both different dyno's, however, both these dynos have been run with other cars whom I was with and some cars with no mods or changes ended up with very very simular results to the Jan run...
Interesting Gain from Front Mount i/c with the water spray... One run was done in 4th gear, the other in 3rd gear. There was a 2hp difference between these runs.
A little boost and I'll be up over 200hp fairly easily. neato.
