Well I encountered the weirdest thing....I go to put my fram filter from wal-mart on there and it doesn't fit the JDM one is bigger i tried the filter on my old engine and the JDM filter slid up and down it and the Fram one worked fram one would not go at all...so right now I am running the JDM one which is dirty...some crap called pit work...that *** writing all over it....

Is this going to be a problem? where will I buy filters are they diffrent on a 2001? or something?

This is odd.
My JDM had one of those PIT WORK filters on it.
I used a Purolator 14477 I believe. The shaft that the filter slides on did seem a little longer than my US engine.

mine doesn't even have a Shaft for it to slide on just a threaded bolt to slide on....and its bigger then the other
