Guys, im going to make my self very clear here. If you ever have to take out your axles..for any reason make sure you invest in a few 5 dollar seals! My tranny is spewing out tranny fluid again becuase the driver side seals. It is very annoying to take out the axles..granted its not a super hard thing to do..just annoying and very petty. So instead of enjoying the rest of my sunday afternoon eating pancakes and watching MTV Real World marathons im giong to be changing my alxle seals. Another thing when you put in your axles make sure you tap the axles in ALL THE WAY! i just noticed i have like a 1.8 gap between the axle and the actual tranny..very dangerous.. so im also going to be hammering that baby back in place...so the moral of this post is to make sure you tap your axles (coined term for tap them all the way in) and replace the seals. And last but not least dont put redline tranny fluid in your tranny unless you know it will not leak out!;)

With busted CV jionts I just put Advanced special fluid in till I do my axles. Then I will go Redline.

That sucks I will learn from your mistake.

Are you aware of the special install instructions surrounding the d.s. axle seal?

I just got done doing a D.S. axle and seal on my GF's NX2K yesterday cuase hers was leaking. It was leaking cause someone had installed it to far in. Took me all of 10 minutes to get the axle back in too.

If ya put a little grease around where the little clip is it goes a lot easier. Even better is if you can chill the grease before putting it on the end of the axle.
