hey whasup guys... im new in SR20forum and would like a lil help with some plans i got with my B13. Actually i got this small engine (E16) is a 1600cc with twin 45mm Webber Carburators and a LOT of work on the engine... it moves really sweet, but like most of us we want more and this would be the next step.. Next feb im planning to buy a SR20DE completely standar but into my plans are to make this a Turbo SR20. Basically my doubts are on how much can a I devolpe the this engine with the stock internals and what should i begin on thinking... what kinda turbo... apexi... and everything u guys can help me with. I know basics about SR20 but any info would be more than great.

Excellent advice.

Once you have read that entire section, read this thread:

Then once you have read, searched for more information, and put together a workable plan, ask whatever educated questions you still need answers to.

Welcome to the forum! :biggthump

I would say the same thing, but hell the b14 that I bought was a DE with a turbo put on it. I put everything back to bolt ons, so i guess if or when i wanna go to turbo, its already tapped. So hey to each his own haha

As long as he doesnt start talking about "How can I drift my FW drive car" ill be ok lol

In fact the reason why im taking a DE and turbo it is cause here in Peru the only way Ive seen they can have a DET with FWD in B13 is buying a GTiR SR20DET... take out the AWD gear box and put the normal FWD gear box of the DE That price would be way more expensive than what im whilling spend... (here has never arrived a original FWD DET... not that i know at least... does a FWD DET actually exist?). So i thought on buying a normal DE, work some things on the engine, enjoy it a lil bit and in the following months save some money for making this a turbo one. Step by step... im not in a rush
