Where can I get a set of slicks and rims to match for a decent price for my b13? I am looking for 22x8x15.

If you're wanting new I can check around and get you a price tommorrow. Hell we sell slicks on ebay lol. Any particular brand wheel you want? Also did you choose the 15's over the 13's for any particular reason?

I would appreciate if you could get me a price. I don't care about the wheel style or size, I just want the cheapest option I can get, so it doesn't matter whether its a 13 or 15 which ever is cheaper and better suited for my gearing.

If you can get me a package price (wheels and tires) that would be awesome!

thanks
john

Cool, so your saying 15's are better and cheaper then 13's? Because I want the cheapest option, remember I am a sentra owner not a 350z owner:rofl:

sounds more like you were more interested in 15" wheels than 13" ones. so he decided to find you some cheap 15" wheels. and speaking of slicks, what would be a good size for 15x6" wheels? i'm planning to get some bf goodrich drag radials 225/50/15, but would like to know prices on slicks compared to those. i have no knowledge of slicks and their sizes comared to performance, so...

Actually I was going to suggest 15" wheels because they are cheaper. The only GOOD 13" option is the Lenso's which I use. I could sell you those as well but they're alot more than a cheap set of normal 15" wheels.

BobbyisKing, do you know how much HP you are making?

You'd do best on 22" slicks then. If you move up in power from there you'd need to go bigger but I think you'd be fine on the 22's for a while.

so would that 22" tire compare to the 205/50/15 bf goodrich drag radial? or more towards just "slicks" in general? because i do know you want as much thread width that you can fit on the tire, and whatever diameter "22 inches" that will work best. now concerning to the drag radials, looks like the 205/50/15 ones are 23" diameter, while the 225/50/15 ones are 23.9" diameter. now the 225 does have 3/4" more thread that the 205 one, but will the diameter hold back even though there is 3/4" more grip?

I have to be honest with you. In my personal opinion drag radials on a fwd are EXTREMELY useless. You're not going to hook anywhere near like you will on a full slick. If you are doing all this for street racing purposes, and I hope you're not, the drag radials WILL do slightly better than a normal tire. On a fwd car the drag radials just don't help much at all, they're mostly for the rwd crowd.

haha, honestly, i don't "street race" anymore. used to, but a few times was pretty close to the law, so it just isn't worth it. i been to a strip once, and loved it, so that's all i'm down for now. so in your opinion, the 22x8x15 slicks would be good on my 15x6" wheel? i'll look into it.

I used the same size slick on some GSR fat five wheels that were 15x6's. I pulled 1.7 60 fts and ran 7.9 @ 92mph in the 1/8 th mile. That's my best run I've made too. That was with those OLD slicks and a stock motor.

AaroNX can I get slicks that would fit on a 13x5.5 rim?? A member is selling a set and I was wondering if they will work?

thanks

You COULD put them on those wheels but I'd advise against it. A 8 inch wide slick on a 5.5 inch wheel just wouldn't work very well.

Ok, so the b14 wheel is 15x6 and that will work with a 8inch slick right? Did you get me a price yet on those slicks yet? I might be buying very soon.

Shit I totally forgot about that price. I've been pretty drunk the last couple days lol. Let me find you one of our ebay links, that's the best thing to go by.
