thanks If your into drag racing, I would say coilovers, because my neighbors car scapes his exhaust on the ground during hard launches. Thats with eibach prokits and GTspec exhaust. It rides really nice with the prokits though. Now that I think about it, just buy coilovers if you can afford them.

I have a 91 240SX Fast Back. We are going to slap my car to the ground with coilovers. Reason we take most of our car club cars to the local drag strip. It will also give you better handling in rain and snow. The reason I know. One of our guys has a 300Z coilovers helped him out tramendously. Just my 2 cents.

how hard are coilovers to put on, and do they make the car ride like crap??

It doesn't really ride like crap as long as you have good shocks, But realize that the car is going to bounce. They really aren't that hard from what I have seen. Generally like a 2-3 hour job if you have people there that have done it before. Don't do it alone.

Coil overs will give you a bit more tuneability if you need it. I'm planning on installing Tein HA's and adjustable upper pillow ball mounts and Cusco adj rear upper control arms....but I intend to run this on road courses...

Going with a nice set of shocks and a set of normal lowering springs will probably do fine.

From what I understand, you get a lot of neg camber in the rear....which will cause more oversteer. Possibly not what you are looking for.

So yes, I would find some means to correct the camber.
