I am definately going to go with JWT, ACT, or Clutchmasters. I like the assortment of discs Clutchmasters offer, but also like the JWT and ACT pp's. I didn't like the fact that JWT's organic disc is almost just a stock disc from Nissan. Yes, that's even what they said. If I was to go ACT all the way I would get a organic/Maxx, or maybe a JWT pp/Clutchmasters stage 3 disc. Also, I like AP Racing's array, but they may be pricey. I've got the idea of maybe sticking a larger disc size in there, but a friend of told me that would require a larger flywheel, he said a 280zx will fit, and it is 240mm opposed to our 215mm stock. Whatever the outcome, I will running on a '93 that will be close to 210crank hp/200crank tq. with a 50 shot, and will be looking to upgrade to a 100 shot. Any suggestions? Please post what combo you have or have tried and like. I need something that will last, too. And no harsh engagement stuff here, this is a daily driver. Thanks!

Dude, the jwt and 2001 se disc is the lightest clutch out of the group. The act HD PP with street disc holds extremly well and the pedal feel is slightly more than the jwt. The ACT XT PP with street disc is even more pedal effort but works great. I run the XT00 kit on my car and I only have bolt ons and stuff with cams comig and an ecu. I got the XT cause I plan on a VE or DET swap next year.

The ACT clutch kits vary from 375 to 500 bucks, but there are some group buys and discounts going right now in the for sale section of this forum. The JWT pp is going for around 200 i think and then the 2001 disc is around 65 at courtesy nissan. then you need a throw out bearing and clips and stuff, possibly a new clutch cable. There are kits from clutchmasters and stuff that seem to get good reviews, the only ones I am familiar with are the jwt and act as my brother and I run both and we have a car with a stock setup. The act requires more effort but clamps harder in my opinion. the jwt unit is nice and the price isn't bad either.

Why?? Once you get used to it, it's not bad at all. I have stock pedal feel with amazing grabbing power!

coach, when you say "stock disk" you mean the oem disk or the 2001 SE Disk?

time to replace the cluch / pp on my car as well (just bolt - ons).
