nobody I know of yet. I have seen a kit on a 300z, and they look totally bad ass. I almost stepped up to the plate and bought a set, but chickened out.

I've been looking into th JIC. They're $1350-1400. The spring is linear and the kit available for the 200 doesn't have adjustable valving. I've been intouch with Stillen regarding these. The JIC has camber plates and pillow ball mounts. My other choices are the Motivational setup or the Tein SS coilover. Tein has been looking for a prototype 200sx to fit a kit. They asked me but I'm on the east coast.

Why would they need to test fit, if they already have a kit. My friend has a Tein coil-over set up on his 200SX. He got it from japan when he was stationed over there.

Does anyone know the part # for the Tein Coilover?

Let me ask him, but I'm pretty sure that he just got the set for the GTI-R and it fit perfectly.

I've speaking with a sales rep. at Tein USA. I discussed the N15 setup for the B14 and it will fit but there are some differences. Also, I was interested in the SS kit not the HA.

Tein makes some bad ass shit. A friend had them on his 99 SI and that thing handle like it was on rails.

Yall best to save your money and get these Scottshighspeed coilovers. ($1900) but you can't go wrong with these. External adjusting front and back. Koni inserts. Front compression external adjusting also. GC eibach coilover set up. Car rides and handles like nobodies business :D

i have been seriously thinking about getting them. and i probaly will in a few monthes. i think they will be worth it.... and they have a proven record in japan. only thing im worried about is recharging the shocks over time. are they fully rebuildable like AGX's and who can do them?

Check out JIC Magic's new ad in the SCC September 2002 issue on page 127. It's a very informative ad.

your right... the SA-1's offer the adjustable shocks... the kit for the sentra/200sx is the SF-1. All the same features except the adjusable shocks.

this site quoted me $1300 shipped. Not too bad.

In my opinion you are crazy to spend big money for non-adjustable shocks. You will want to adjust them over time due to wear. Nothing last forever. I just tightened my Koni's and each time it feels like I have a new car again. For 1300 I would get the Motivational over any non-adjustable setup. However, to adjust the basic Koni's you need to remove them. Get a lifetime alignment (on sale at firestone for under $100) and It takes me less then a hour to adjust all my shocks. External would be soooo much nicer and is next on my list.

i was also looking at the motivationals. they seem to look good. but i have noticed a couple things. first.... they are $100 bucks more. second... its another $40 bucks per strut if i dont provide my own shocks for them to modify. please tell me if im wrong and just interpreting their web page wrong. that brings me up to alot more than i want to spend. Hell $1300 is really pushing it!!!!! this suspension travel problem is making me want to rid myself of the sentra.

I dont think the charge your for core. The core charge only applies to the maximas and the 240s. I dont think that matters thou, because your still looking around $1K for some stuts. Which is a lot. My AGX's are about to go out on me soon. I to need new struts. I think I'll wait for the tein. Any word on that part number Martin???

After speaking with Motivational Engineering I was left wondering. When I asked about adjustablity he said that they match springs to driving style and once they adjust the strut I shouldn't touch them. Core charge applies if your front strut's guts are worn or you have OEM. I currently have AGX's and I like the external adjustment but these are getting old and I need a cure to my suspension travel too. I'm not a fan of removing the struts everytime I want to adjust them.

What you needs to do is contact Scott. Just E mail him and talk to him. After I put my coilover set up on the car I had it slammed all the way to the wheels and drove it home like that. I still had 2 inches of travel in the rear and more than that up front. Give him a hollar, Scott_Higashi@el.nec.com
Get the skinny on his set up before you make another move!

maybe i am wrong......but i added up the cost of getting the motivational shortened struts and shocks with threaded bodies, ground control coilovers, and koni bumpstops....and it is cheaper to build it yourself than to buy the complete package. granted it is only $100 or 200 cheaper (been awhile since i added it all). this is coilover kit right? i am pretty sure they use gc coilovers on their kits.
