Is the rear end pinion angle adjustable in s13's?

Im putting a small block chevy motor in it and most likely will have to set a differant angle, can it be done without re-welding suspension components?

It's adjustable in that you can adjust the angle at the front of the differential, but you'd have to stress the rear bolts in order to get the differential to tilt. The driveshaft coupling angle is the most important, if it's too steep it will shear and explode. The differential is the strong component.

Can you tell me how to set it without ruining anything? Ive never done it before, and am new to 240's.

You pretty much have to mount the engine so the driveshaft lines up.

That or fail.

Not really as in I would have to be there to really make an assessment.

^^^Yeah, its kind of hard to tell other wise.

Thats kind of what i thought I would have to do. I just didnt want to have too much tilt in the motor to mess up the oil level in the pan, if that makes any sense.
