Yes and Yes. You also need the rear knuckles.

I heard that SMC makes a adaper also. DO a search on the Nissan Performance Magazine or something. I did see them.

Go to a salvage yard and get 91-94 se-r spindles and e-brake cables. Get a ton of wd-40. The control arms and trailing arms are the same. Bleed your brakes very thorough afterwards.

Fastbrakes will soon have the adaptors. We will do a complete install in a upcoming NPM issue.

Let me jump on this for some information. I have the basic sentra with drums on the back and I want to put the disk brakes on it. My yard recently got a SE-r and I need to go pick it.
Can someone (quickly) tell me what items i need to pull of the SE-r so i can run out and get all that i need to complete the conversion?

thanks

thanks, I realized the thread was old.... but a firm believer in not creating new threads if you can open an older one that is on topic of what your talking about.

thanks for the information.... just wanted to make sure since the thread was SOO old that informaiton was still correct.

Back to this old thread...... I have read that "maybe" the rear wheels will not fit over the calipers?????
If i use the stock 13" wheels and the the stock Se-r calipars, will that be an issue for me, or does that primarliy only come into effect with the larger maxim calipar?

thanks folks

Why would you want to use 13" wheels?

Why would you want to use 13" wheels?

I dont have an SE-r, stock Sentra E, that I have been adding OEM stuff to and I have not the desire (moola) "right now" to swap out my rims to 14's.
So just checking to make sure that the calipars are no issue with what I have.

thanks

Does anyone have a good point of contact for the purchase of some new bushing for the control arms? I got the whole set up, but before I put them in my car I would like to put some new stuff in there. I went to Pep Boys today and they dont even have a listing of any type. Any other avenues from the experts in here?

easiest thing to do is remove the parralel(sp?) arms from the top you arent gettin the main bolt out of the shackle on the bottom....and then just disconnect the trailing arm(radius arm cant remember the tech name)...the ebrake cable and then it will much eaier intstall....trust me....
or you will spend some coin at the dealer ship...its like 30 bucks for the lower bolt and nut for both sides....i cut mine up and had a machine shop press the rest out...much easier to do the above method
all the bolts and stuff are dealer only items

thanks, i got everything sitting in the garage. Just trying to figure out what I can change and where I can get it. Just found out (another thread) that I can't change the rear bearing. and from this sounding like swapping the bushing are not going to be any fun either. OH well, the price you pay to do something so simple.

thanks for the information
