I'm almost 20 years old and I'm paying statefarm $1000 for 6months of full coverage. (what a rip-off = $2000 a year)

akapaul, that is alot. when i first had my car i was paying 1300 every six months. in feb. i got a different company and now im paying around 600 to 700 a month. not bad for a 21 year old.

Hey man what company are you using to get 600 every 6 months for car insurance I'll be paying 900 using the company my parents use so spill it who are you using.

I have state farm. $500 deductable. Car is all mine, insurance on me. Good student discount and 2 car discount (dad).

Still, $1000 = nice header and exhaust, but gotta have the insurance. :(

Dude, that used to be me. I was paying $187 a month when i had my first SE-R which was at that time only 3 years old when i was 18. Now I am almost 25, I own my car, and I pay only $26 a month (for $500 deductable) with a clean driving record and a military discount from GEICO.

If you can get GEICO, get it. It is cheap.

I'm at around $190/month w/ my se-r in chicago. I pay $100/month for a garage thats no where close to my apt. and that still didn't help lower ins costs. I'm totally gettin' ripped. and oh yeah, my car's been getting a new JDM engine for the last month, so not only do i have to pay ins on a car i cant yet drive, but i got an empty $100 garage spot. ouch.

akapaul, the insurance that i have is nation wide. they give you a discount if you go to school. and it is full coverage by my self for 650. but my nx is 3 something with me as a part time driver. not bad i think. a thousand for two cars full coverage on both for half a year. payed more than that before for one car.:rolleyes:
